How we build our listings
Where the data comes from
Our 14,360 listings are compiled from public sources — primarily OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL license) — then enriched and cross-checked by our own pipeline against clinics' published information. Every clinic page shows the date it was last checked, and whether it has passed independent verification yet.
How listings are ordered
By objective facts only: clinics with posted 24/7 hours first, then clinics advertising emergency services, then alphabetically. No clinic can pay to rank higher, and no clinic pays to be listed. If we ever offer paid placement in the future, it will be visually separate and clearly labeled "Sponsored" — never mixed into the organic order.
How we make money
The site is free and supported by advertising and affiliate links (for example, pet insurance comparison services), which are always labeled. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over which clinics appear or how they're ordered — the companies that pay us are not the clinics being listed, by design. Our limits (read this)
Hours, staffing, and emergency availability change faster than any directory can track — including this one and including search engines. That's why every page sayscall ahead. We are not a veterinary provider, nothing here is medical advice, and in a crisis the phone numbers on our listings matter more than anything we've written.
