Distances are straight-line between town coordinates, not road miles; drive times are estimates, not routing. Our dataset (OpenStreetMap and GeoNames base, plus our own verification and reader corrections) is extensive but not a census: a town can look underserved here because a hospital lacks any web presence. Corrections are verified and applied — report one.
